Wind Gusting N.W. Changing to W. S.W. during the afternoon Consistent sailing by the forerunners sees the championship wide open. Anyone of 5 skippers could win. 15- 20knt southerlies forecast for day 2 will keep everyone on there toes. And again rigs will be tested to the limit. Many boats today succumbed to gear failure fortunately non too serious.
